About Us

70x7 Homes has years of experience doing new residential home construction along with additions to existing homes. We have many satisfied customers who we have completed both small and large projects for. We do a variety of projects that include: New home construction, new additions (bedroom, bath, kitchen, attic, etc.), and large exterior projects (sunrooms, decks, patios, etc.). We typically do not do remodels, except when it involves a new addition. Please browse through our gallery of photos to see some of our work.

Our Residential Process

Planning: Meet with the owner to begin an initial conversation about the entire project. We want to begin a conversation about the overall job and discuss the details of the project in order to create a preliminary estimate and a relationship with our customer.

Pricing: Present an estimate that outlines the scope of work and the details of what will be provided in the completed project.

Design: Work with customer to create the virtual finished product that they have envisioned. Involve architects and/or designers as necessary.

Contract, Scope of Work, and Timeline: Negotiate and agree upon a final contract with a detailed scope of work. Provide the customer with a detailed timeline of the project from start to finish. Most of our projects are paid for as the project is completed and not by making major payments up front. Typically an initial 5%-10% is paid at contract signing to begin the work and then the project is split into 5-10 payments (depending on the size of the project). We make every attempt to work with our customers on a payment plan that is realistic and is tailored to their situation. We will also work directly with insurance companies and banks to release funding for our customers projects.

Changes: Most projects involve changes at the request of our customers or due to city/county requirements. We always attempt to work with our customers or team members to try to make changes within the existing contract and scope of work, so as to not affect the price of the overall job. When necessary, major changes by our customers will be authorized and a change order will be submitted as an addendum to the contract.

Completion: Once all city/county inspections have been completed and a certificate of occupancy has been issued, our customers will have the opportunity to submit a final punch list of items within the scope of work. After that punch list is completed, the project is considered finished.

Warranty: Our projects include a one-year warranty on all services, labor, and products installed. We also offer our customers an ongoing maintenance contract beyond one year for each specific trade or specialized job.
